Orca AI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Engineer to be part in creating the future of the shipping industry in the field of autonomous ships.
As a System Engineer in Orca AI, you will be a focal point in a multidisciplinary R&D organization. You will be the technical lead for all matters related to system design and considerations in new and existing products.
What will you do?
Define Hardware, Firmware, and Software requirements, and participate with the design teams in implementation and with the testing teams in verification.
Analyse and suggest architecture alternatives.
Understand and analyse customer needs and market trends.
Support field trials, customer surveys, technical support, and production processes
At least 4-5 years of experience as a System Engineer of a multidisciplinary product with a strong software background.
Significant background in camera technologies and image processing.
Experience with system design from concept to a complete product.
Experience w/ Cloud environment; preferably AWS.
Knowledge of networking & communication
Design according to standards / regulations.
Management of subcontractors - construction, planning management, development.
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Optics Electronics- Multidisciplinary
