Former President and CEO of Maersk Line Limited, John F. Reinhart, joins the AI-based navigation safety platform Advisory Board, along with former IBM, Todd Scott and Tal Babaioff from Mobileye
Orca AI, the industry leading AI-based navigation safety platform, has announced the joining of three industry leading executives to the company’s Advisory Board. Through their strategic guidance and support, Orca AI will continue to make vessels and crews safer through its unique collision avoidance system.
Joining Orca is former President and CEO of Maersk Line Limited, the US Flag company for Maersk Line, John F. Reinhart, who brings a wealth of experience including most recently as CEO of the Virginia Port Authority. Merited across the industry, Reinhart was inducted into the International Maritime Hall of Fame in 2019.
Todd Scott joins the board with 33 years of experience at IBM, where he held numerous executive leadership roles including VP of Blockchain Solutions. Particularly, he was responsible for managing the global blockchain based supply chain solutions for the multinational, whose solutions included, most notably, TradeLens, which is IBM’s jointly developed solution with Maersk. He is currently Managing Partner at Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider.
Lastly, Tal Babaioff joins with 20 years of experience at Mobileye, an Intel company, known for its autonomous driving and driver-assist technologies, harnessing world-renowned expertise in computer vision, machine learning, mapping and data analysis. At Mobileye, Babaioff has been responsible for the critical role of mapping and localization, by creating the high-definition maps that are essential for fully autonomous vehicles.
